The design and creation of this garden was greatly influenced by the existing wall and steps installed by the developer.  In edition the clients desired the inclusion of a slate structure, pond and stream, seating and dining areas to link the sun lounge with the restof the garden.
 
Intrinsic to the design was creating a flow between the two levels of the garden. The positioning of the upper patio and stream was designed to maximize this link and also make  the most of the surrounding countrysidebeyond.
